Estimates
You can call our main line at 480-284-7338, send us an email at info@theroofmedics.com or contact us online by visiting our contact page.
An estimate will usually take approx. 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the situation.
The Roof Medics will assess the roof problem, take photos, write up an estimate and answer any questions that have regarding your roof.
Absolutely! We can send an electronic copy of the proposal and photos for your records.
Depends. If you have a leak, we will have to see where the leak is inside.
Accepting Work
You must initial, sign and date where needed on the proposal. You can send a copy via email, fax, or mail it in. We will also, of course, pick it up in person.
It usually takes less than 1 hour, but it depends on size and type of roof.
We typically require a down payment of 30% of the total – due prior to start of work.
Scheduling
Once we agree upon terms, your roofing project will be submitted to our Production Department for scheduling. Our Production Department will contact you within 7-10 days to schedule your work. Weather is always a part of our plans and may cause delays in scheduling.
Depends on the project. Anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. Your estimator should give you more of an approximate time frame.
No problem, we do a lot of work while customers are out of town. We take photos during and after the project.
We check the weather forecast daily and make arrangements accordingly. Our job is to keep you dry throughout the project. Monsoon season is the trickiest part of the year and causes delays.
Work Process
We will typically need access to the roof so gates should be unlocked. Also, vehicles should be moved out of the driveway and garage to prevent any possible damage to them. Anything of value to you should be put away and protected as to prevent any possible damage to them.
This is a construction project. You can expect anywhere from 2-10 roofers on your roof at any given time (depending on the project). There will be typical construction noise. Trucks and trailers will be coming and going.
Safety is our #1 priority for our employees and our customers. Please keep your children away from the work areas –especially from around the edges of the roof. Please put your pets in a secure place. We take every precaution to ensure everyone’s safety.
After the work is complete
Once completed you will receive an invoice for the balance due with photos for your records.
You will be able to pay us online with a credit card or online check, personal check or we can take the payment in person.
Warranty
Once the final payment is made, we will issue the warranty(s) for the work.
If you ever have any problems any of the roof work we performed contact us at 480-284-7338.
Absolutely, we will transfer the warranty to the new owner once all of the information is provided. We may need to inspect the roof prior to transfer.
All roofs need a little maintenance. Debris (trees, trash, dirt, etc…) and bird poop are the two biggest issues with roofs – so they need to be removed periodically. Depending on the roof structure, the roof will need regular maintenance once every 6 months to 2 years.
