Work Process

  • What should I do to prepare?

We will typically need access to the roof, so your gates should be unlocked. Also, vehicles should be moved out of the driveway and garage in advance to prevent any possible damage to them. Anything of value to you that you keep outside should be put away and protected to prevent any possible damage, too.

  • What can I expect to happen during the roofing project?

Roofing is a construction project. You can expect anywhere from two to 10 roofers on your roof at any given time (depending on the project). There will be typical construction noise, and trucks and trailers will be coming and going from your property.

  • How do I maintain my roof?

All roofs need a little maintenance. Debris (tree branches, leaves, etc.) and bird excrement are the two biggest issues with roofs that need to be removed periodically. Depending on the roof structure, our team has found that the roof will need regular maintenance once every six months to two years.

According to Architectural Digest, most asphalt shingle roofs last 15 to 30 years, depending on the climate and shingle quality. The latter end of this range can be achieved if you have your roof routinely maintained and inspected.

Have you been wondering, "Can the roofing contractors near me help maintain my roof throughout the year?" We'd be happy to give you more information. Contact us today.
